Use Smart Lock to unlock Android phone
If you have Android 5.0 and above, you can use Smart Lock feature offered by Google to unlock Android phone. To do so, you need to be in close proximity of specific Bluetooth devices or WiFi networks. The Smart Lock feature works well if you are in a trusted location, your home for instance. Therefore, in case you have previously set up one or more of these provisions before you forgot your password, you can use it to unlock your phone. To do so, for instance, you will have to take your smartphone to the trusted Wi-FI network, and it will automatically unlock for you, even if you are unable to remember the passcode. Reset your pattern to lock Android 4.0 or lower devices
Follow these simple steps on how to unlock Android phone. Use Google recovery to restore the lock screen password.
Once you have tried to unlock your phone multiple times, you will see “Forgot pattern.” Tap Forgot pattern.Enter the Google Account username and password you previously added to your phone.Reset your screen lock
Factory Reset through Recovery
In case you are not able to access Android Device Manager or if you do not have a Google account, you can use the recovery method to conduct a complete factory reset. Generally to perform Factory Reset, you will need to hold power and volume up/ down button when the phone is switched off.
